I am a professional Mechanical Engineer with a recently discovered passion for restoring vintage bicycles. After working for 20+ years in corporate IT management I enjoy making something tangible and lasting for a change.
Restoring quality bikes and bringing them back on the road again is my hobby. After finding high quality bicycle worth restoring, I disassemble it completely, inspect, clean, and properly lubricate every component, replace everything questionable with new parts matching the era, tune everything up, including greasing all bearings, truing wheels, and dialing shifters/derailleurs/brakes. Time and attention given to every detail of each bicycle I restore makes these bicycles look and function like new again.
