2007 Raleigh Coasting in black forest green

I love this bike for several reasons:

  1. Raleigh has been the world’s largest bicycle manufacturer for many decades. They built this bike true to their traditional super comfortable upright riding position. NOTHING is more comfortable to ride.
  2. Modern steel frame of this bike is lighter than classic British “all steel” frames, yet it is painted in the same distinctive black forest green.
  3. This bike has an automatic  drivetrain, or what they call it “automatic shifting-engineered Coasting group” developed by Shimano. That means this bike will automatically switch gears based on your speed.  It is done by a dynamo-hub generated internal three speed hub. No greasy cassettes (all gears are hidden inside the hub), no derailleurs, no shifters, no problems.
  4. Coaster brake system doesn’t require brake levers. The bike has a simple classic silhouette without levers and shifters. steel
