This bike is the first year of Myka production – Specialized built it for lightweight efficiency with anatomical engineering and components for women. Specialized called Myka “the best performing recreational mountain bike”. 

Best for 5’2″-5’8″ riders. Superlight M4 alloy, lighter than aluminum and stiffer than steel. Beautiful artwork on the frame. Shimano 24-speed drivetrain, front suspension, all-terrain 26×2.0″ tires. New headset, chain, 8-speed 34T cassette, pedals, cables/housings, brake pads, cables/housings, and saddle. MSRP: $550. 

This bike’s freewheel body was completely clogged up with bad quality lubricant. When it worked, it was impossibly hard to pedal, hence the stretched chain and badly damaged cassette cogs. All replaced with new components now.

This is Helena’s bike now.
