2009 Specialized P.1 dirt jumper

I bought this bike on Craigslist knowing nothing about it. The seller didn’t know much about it either, just wanted to get rid of it. This bike was dirtier than hell, with badly rusted cables and chain, torn tires/tubes, and leaking Marzocchi shocks, but no structural issues. Unless you notice Specialized logos on most components, this bike looks as  if someone built it from scrap. The beautiful frame art on the lower tube contrasts with a purposely sloppy looking Specialized logo on the top tube – it looks like it was made by a five year old.

Only after bringing this bike home I realize that this is a $940 2009 Specialized P.1 dirt jumper in Gloss Burnt Orange with all original components. More information and specs on Specialized website.
