2009 Specialized Rockhopper Comp 19" Satin Charcoal
All-purpose mountain bike, best for 5’8”-6’2” riders. Specialized M4 aluminum alloy frame, very light (only 27lbs!), 24-speed Shimano drivetrain, disk brakes, front shocks, 26″x2.0” with a lock, all terrain tires. Original price $770.
I bought this Rockhopper on Craigslist. As most used bikes, it only looked decent, but was not safe to ride. The chain was stretched; rear derailleur hanger damaged, rear wheel had broken spoke and was misaligned; cables’ housing damaged and badly bent in several places. I completely disassemble this bike, inspected and thoroughly cleaned every component; replaced all questionable parts with new.
This is Matt’s bike now.
