This bike is a mountain monster. Best for 5’8″-6’2″ riders. 

The original 2009 Specialized Enduro SL Comp bike with indestructible Enduro SL frame made with M5 alloy (lighter than aluminum and stiffer than steel), was upgraded with enormous yet light Specialized Future Shock e150sl, Shimano XTR full hydraulic disc brakes, custom for Specialized DT Swiss E440S wheels. Organic pads for enhanced modulation, big 203 mm rotor in front and 185mm in back for complete braking control. Custom Avid Elixir R SL brake levers allows tool-free reach adjustment. S-Works Eskar 26×2.3″ tires with large volume casing, dual-compound tread and 2Bliss technology. Shimano LX Hollowtech II crank custom for Specialized. Hollow forged crankarms and integrated pipe billet bottom bracket for stiffness and efficiency. SG-X chainrings. Specialized AFR rear Shock provides 150mm of air-sprung travel. The original Fox 32 Float RL fork is upgraded with Specialized Future Shock e150sl with 150mm travel, and compression/rebound adjust for all-mountain ripping.

Enduro is a type of mountain bike racing for all abilities, usually long distance, where the downhills are timed, and the uphills are not. Enduro bikes are designed for prolonged rough racing. They are more rigid and have better suspension than cross-country racers, but lighter and faster than downhill bikes. They are often called “All Mountain” bikes.
