This bike is a fully restored 1990 Specialized Stumpjumper CroMoly steel 20″ frame with Shimano Deore LX components and RockShox Magnesium shocks circa 1995.  Best for 5’11”-6’5″ riders. Based on the original frame decals, it is a 1990 model; however the frame color looked like heavily weathered ‘black with purple pearl’ circa 1991. Since several prominent rust spots on the frame looked too ugly, I completely de-rust this frame and gave it a professional powder coat. Thanks to AJ it looks better than new now: nearly black without direct light; but sparkles with shades of deep purple and blue based on the light angle – absolutely beautiful!

Since the original Shimano Deore DX components weathered even worth than the frame, I replaced all of them with newer and more classy looking Shimano Deore LX in glossy black finish to complete this awesome build.
