ALL ORIGINAL classic do-it-all mountain bike, best for 6’2″-6’8″ riders. Very unusual ‘Di Nucci green’ paint. Shimano Biopace ovoid (non-rounded) chainrings. 

EVERYTHING on this bike is original. It has been hardly ever ridden and is well preserved indoors. Nevertheless, I completely disassembled it and cleaned/re-packed all bearings, as old lubricants were too dry in certain areas, especially in the lower headset bearing. This bike is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. 

Speaking of decals, none of the aftermarket copies match the original decals on this bike – just look at the close-up photos of the shadows on the “Specialized” and “Rockhopper” logos to see the difference. The shade is not solid, but consists of hundreds of dots creating a dithered effect.  This bike is pure eye candy, but it is a bit too large for me. I’d prefer not to alter it, as it could be a highlight in any bicycle museum.
