This is a classic Schwinn Collegiate Tourist bike in absolutely beautiful ‘Emerald Green’ color. The 1979 Schwinn Catalog calls it an “ideal for girls from 8 to 80 who prefer upright handlebars and a comfortable mattress saddle on a bike that’s not too high with a step-through frame that makes it easy to get on and off“. This bike came from Pacifica and was completely rusted. All except the beautiful ‘Emerald Green’ frame. It is a 3-speed model with Schwinn-approved side pull brakes.
I am restoring this bike for Adriana.
