1969-71 Bianchi Rekord road bike 55cm (Medium) 'celeste'
Best for 5’6″-5’10” riders. Classic road bike by Bianchi – the world’s oldest bicycling company. Elegant and well-made road bike, steel frame, 10-speed Campagnolo drivetrain, 27-1-1/4″ wheelset, all made in Italy. By design, this bike’s frame was chromed and then painted in gorgeous Bianchi ‘celeste’ enamel.
This bike was donated to me by Mark, and we can’t identify it. Some original decals are shown in ‘before & after’ pics. I replaced them with a set of new decals that were not on the this bike originally.
This bike is very likely a variant of Bianchi Rekord circa 1969-1971 – special thanks to Howard for finding this. It looks like this Rekord 746 except the fork, stem, and headset sticker that look just like on this 1969 Bianchi Rekord on eBay.
This is Adam’s bike now.
